Dr. X. Mara Chen is a tenured professor with the Department of Geography & Geosciences at Salisbury University. She has a broad research interest in geosciences education and environmental studies using GIS and remote sensing. Consequently, she has published articles and given professional presentations on science education, geospatial perspectives/dimensionality, and environmental applications of GIS and remote sensing.
