Generalized Fibonacci Sequences in Pythagorean Triple Preserving Matrices
Abstract
AbstractIn this paper, we explore new connections between Pythagorean triples and generalized Fibonacci sequences. We show that Fibonacci and generalized Fibonacci sequences appear in powers of known matrices that give rise to trees of primitive Pythagorean triples.
